Tammy Klinkhamer wins the Brucker Award
The late Harry Brucker, was successful business man on Payne Avenue many years ago. He was an advocate for the progress of the Avenue and had a deep sense of commitment to his community. He was an active volunteer and member of PABA. Brucker was a role model in every sense of the word. After his passing - his legacy inspired a gesture that would recognize people like Harry Brucker, who is the namesake for PABA’s Annual Brucker Award.
This year’s Brucker Award was carefully chosen by PABA President, Gregg Rosenberger, who selected Tammy Klinkhamer, Vice President/ Community Ambassador of Sunrise Banks.

Fred Yarusso Named Business Person of the Year
In 1932 an Italian immigrant named Francesco Yarusso opened his own tavern. However, it was prohibition time and he sold only near-beer. In the following year he expanded by opening the "Square Deal Café". Every family member worked there at one time or another. In 1947, Francesco retired & his sons, Joseph, Ernest & David took over the restaurant & re-named it "Yarusso Bros Italian Restaurant."Their delicious home-cooked food is very much the same as it was over 60 years, with the same sauce recipe that was created by Francesco.
Frederick (Fred) started working there with his brothers David & Michael when he was a kid. To this day, when you visit the restaurant you'll most-likely see the very talented, very friendly (and one of the hardest-working Chefs you'll ever meet), moving about the dining room and back to the kitchen as he continues to manage this legacy - Keeping alive the tradition that started back in 1932.
